Basic Info BioAkazawa continued onto St. Rudolph's high school division at his parents request, despite wanting to transfer to a different high school. It wasn't that he didn't like St. Rudolph's, he did, he just wanted a change of scenery. By the time he reached his second year of high school, he had growing interest in the sport of boxing. He kept up with the tennis club, but also began going to the boxing club as well, discovering that he was a natural (and that it was good for taking out his frustrations, seeing that he lost his temper easily).
When he started his last year of high school, that change of scenery he had wanted a couple of years back happened. His grandparents (who still lived in Brazil), asked that Akazawa's family come to Brazil to help them out in a family business. It wasn’t long before Akazawa and his parents found themselves on a plane, moving to Brazil (his older brother chose to stay in Japan with their other set of grandparents).
He began to attend a new high school in Brazil once they were settled in, and struggled to learn Portuguese quickly so that he would be able function in this new, strange, country. He was able to pick up the language quickly, and for that, he was glad, even if it meant a lot of frustrated outbursts along the way. During this time, he also discovered that he had something of a talent for acting. He wouldn’t have actually found this out though, if it hadn’t been for one of his new friends prodding him into auditioning in the first place.
He applied for college in Brazil, not wanting to leave just yet in favor of wanting to help his family out more. And so, he spent his first two years of college in Brazil. His grandparents business didn’t last long though once he started his third year, and they had to close it. He helped his parents organize a trip back to Japan for all of them, and it wasn’t to long before he found himself back in Japan, getting back into the swing of using Japanese. Since he spent a few years in Brazil speaking only Portuguese, he has some issues remembering words sometimes, and tends to replace the word he forgot with the Portuguese equivalent, creating an odd combo of the two languages.
